Najib Kilani (1995-1931), an Egyptian writer in his novel "Alrajol allazi amana", depicts the confrontation between Eastern and Western culture and the duality of the personalities of Westernized people in order to explain the pure Islamic identity. The present study intends to investigate the characteristics of "Islamic identity" in the novel in a descriptive-analytical manner with regard to the persistent social semiotics of Giro.
